Westfield Stratford, Shopping Centre

Evolving a coordinated streetscape environment & hierarchy of spaces/transition areas that were used for sporting events within a masterplan— illustrating an ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and deliver complex projects. The scheme underwent a series of design reviews which ensured close coordination between the various adjacent schemes which were running concurrently in the scramble to be complete ahead of the London 2012 Olympic Games.

ALD were responsible for the provision of the full range of Landscape Architectural services from planning submissions and design development through detailed design & tender stage, on to construction drawings and site supervision including negotiations with and presentations to the ODA and The London Borough of Newham.
