OHC (Olympic Hospitality Centre) Stratford

A relatively small but highly important space situated between the Olympic Athletes Village and Olympic Stadium used during the two weeks of the games only, as a five star hospitality area by the corporate sponsors to entertain VIP’s. ALD had to create a temporary, fully demountable and recyclable landscape that would create useable external areas of the quality expected from Clients such as British Airways and Omega.

It was essential that while congregating areas and event spaces were defined the strong Olympic branding and that was evident at all Olympic venues was achieved. Working closely with LOCOG, the LPA, LOOK (Olympic branding team), Lend Lease and the Landscape Contractor we were able to successfully deliver a scheme within budget from concept to completion in twelve weeks.
