Glasshouse Gardens, Stratford

Glasshouse Gardens consists of two contemporary 30 and 17 storey residential buildings. These are set in new landscaped gardens, which overlook the iconic Olympic legacy landmarks of the Stadium, Aquatics Centre and ArcelorMittal Orbit. Between each building, a rich variety of gardens gives the area a lush, green airiness, breaking up the linear flow of buildings and providing a beautiful landscape setting. At podium level, a series of communal areas include a modern take on the classic English parterre garden, followed by a linear part-paved limestone geology inspired garden, followed in turn by a witty cosmic garden inspired by crop circles.

ALD helped to implement a phased development creating a flexible strategy that responds to the economical environment and development markers of the future.
