Private Residence

A renovation of a listed Georgian dwelling and outbuildings with derelict classical landscape gardens. The design brief was to achieve instant impact garden, to the highest standards with a sensitive approach to the valued historical features.

ALDs masterplan of the house & grounds featured restored period entrances and access routes, formal landscaped gardens, semi mature tree planting, basement plant rooms, swimming pools, a pergola, sculpture, buildings in the landscape and intimate designs for separate internal/external courtyards.

Our role was maintained on the client side throughout the build, working closely with client team and Landscape Contractor to deliver this high end residence to industry leading standards.

Along the way several planning submissions were made which required community consultation and associated visualisations for discussion, as well as a public hearing at planning committee where ALD gave evidence.
