Nova Level 9 Roof Terrace

ALD were appointed to undertake the roof enhancement proposals for the publicly accessible Level 9 terrace. This process began by coordinating the original concept proposals by Flanagan Lawrence Architects. This was developed into a design which balances hard and soft landscape and creates a green oasis for residents to enjoy within this urban environment. 

ALD were responsible for production of initial visuals for client discussion and sign off​. This led to development of detail information including bespoke planter and bench details, working alongside the planter fabricators to ensure high level of quality in delivery. A lighting strategy was developed alongside Mace MEP for the roof terrace. Hard and soft landscape proposals were developed within the complexities of rooftop delivery e.g. accessibility limitations and working alongside project engineers to ensure loading requirements were met.
