Temple Farm Industrial Designation

A landscape and visual impact assessment and landscape Masterplan as part of a comprehensive EIA for a new industrial development in Essex comprising large and small scale industrial units. Ecological buffer zones and green corridors were used to protect species found onsite from the development and also provide significant blocks of screening.

The project involved the evaluation of the existing landscape and visual elements within and around the planning application area, then the identification of potential landscape and visual impacts on the existing baseline conditions likely to be brought about by the proposed development. Assessment of the magnitude and significance of the landscape and visual impact and the effect of mitigation measures in helping to avoid or reduce any adverse effect of the proposed development.

This all helped to site the buildings and establish the parameters for the buffer zones and protection zones.
