Data Centre, Yorkshire

This was a challenging and somewhat exposed site open to the elements within the county of Yorkshire, the scheme was completed in 2011 and achieved a BREEAM rating of Excellent.

The development evolved from a high specification requirement of the owner to create a landscape that was both beautiful yet functional all within the confines of this highly secure industrial environment, ALD achieved this by creating pockets of ornamental gardens and sculptures adjacent to main entrance, security lodge and carpark, with the rest of the site being designed as open parkland with semi mature trees, wildflower meadows and wildlife ponds.

ALD had the pleasure of taking the project from concept through to planning and delivery, including items of work such as security, water attenuation, cost control and construction phase monitoring.
