    Through the PFI procurement route, we prepared the soft landscape detailed design proposals, specifications and tender documents for three new Secondary Schools and Academies in the Crawley Area known as Maidenbower, Thomas Bennett and Ifield.

    Currently in construction, the Eastern Goods Yard project forms the public realm setting for the new home to the University of Arts London – where we are providing Landscape Consultancy Services. Consulting with English Heritage and Camden, the design proposals present a strong balance between retention / recreation of the historic and introduction / integration of the new and the contemporary.

    Working with charitable organisation ‘Wolverton Unlimited’, this community project integrated extensive public consultation in the review of landscape and open space enhancement opportunities. Creating ‘edible walkways, green space trails, installing bird and bat boxes, relocating bridge links and designing a community farm has had a wide reaching landscape impact on this interested and hands on community

    This project realises hopes and aspirations for the staff and residents.  Working with the main contractor, G F Tomlinson, ALD provided full detailed design and site supervision services, to create a series of spaces for meeting, rest and relaxation and gardening areas.
