Kris Hindhaugh
Kris has joined ALD as a Graduate Landscape Architect having achieved a BA Hons and then Postgraduate Diploma in Landscape Architecture at the University of Gloucestershire. During his first 2.5 years in practice Kris worked for a Landscape Architecture firm in Durham where he gained experience taking projects from concept through to completion. Kris has worked on several play areas one of which achieving national awards, he also has experience in designing educational facilities including schools in Newcastle and a new campus at The University of York. In July 2008 Kris worked on the Coppella garden at the Hampton Court Flower Show. Kris has a keen interest in conservation, habitat creation and in green infrastructure having worked on Ayrshire Green Network using GIS mapping techniques. He is also interested in golf course architecture which was the focus of his 3rd year dissertation project.
